Spreading Hatred On Social Media Dehradun :Special Correspondent. Spreading Hatred on Social Media platform may invite trouble and people doing so may face legal action. On the eve of Diwali a BJP leader in Delhi Kapil Mishra posted an offensive Tweet urging people to reduce pollution. In his tweet Kapil Mishra posted the picture of a family of particular religion and urged his followers to reduce the pollution of population .
Mishra tweet saw widespread reaction on Twitter and most people condemned the tweet as it seems to incite  communal violence. Few people urged Kapil Mishra to delete the controversial tweet but Mishra went on to defend what he has posted, subsequent an FIR was lodged with Delhi Police Cyber Crime cell and the matter is under investigation.
Kapil Mishra deleted the tweet after FIR was lodged with Delhi Police . The FIR was lodged by Mr Saket Gokhale   and he has also started and online campaign to ensure that no one should misuse social media to spread hatred and incite communal violence.
